Drive Belt Failure Mode Memory Clearing Procedure
A flashing CHECK BELT warning LED (Light Emitting Diode) light means that the drive belt needs inspectionThe belt warning light will activate every 100 key-on hours, or sooner if the belt becomes damaged or fails Follow the instruction on pages 214 to 216 of this Service Manual
After completing the inspections, follow these instructions to clear
the system memory and stop the flashing lightignition switch Turn off the the belt switch at the pin connector [A] above the torque Disconnect converter coverboth sets of pin Disconnectconverter coverconnectors [B] which are located above the torque to complete the necessary inspections
