16-28 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Ignition System
Pickup Coil Installation
Plate [B] Pickup Coil [C] Tighten:
Torque Pickup Coil Mounting Bolts: 5.9 N1m (0.6 kgf1m, 52 in1lb)
Install: Coil Leads [A] Stator
notch Fit the lead grommets into theLeads on the alternator coverGrommets [A] for Alternator Grommets [B] for Pickup Coil Leads
Pickup Coil Inspection
seat (see Frame chapter) Remove thethe pickup coil lead connector [A] Disconnect pickup coil resistance Measure athe tester between the BKW lead and the BL lead
Connect hand
Set the tester to the 10
