Valve Clearance Inspection
Refer to Valve Clearance Inspection in Periodic Maintenanc chapterValve Clearance Adjustment
Loosen the locknut [A] and turn the adjusting screw [B] until the clearance is correct Hold the adjusting screw from turning and tighten the locknut to the specified torqueTorque Valve Adjusting Screw Locknuts: 12 N1m (1.2 kgf1m, 104 in1lb)
Recheck the clearanceIf the clearance is incorrect, repeat the adjustment procedureIf the clearance is correct, perform the adjustment procedure on the other valve
