Carburetor Inspection
Gasoline is extremely flammable and can be explosive under certain conditionsTurn the ignition switch OFFDo not smokeMake sure the area is well ventilated and free from any source of flame or sparks; this includes any appliance with pilot light
Before disassembling the carburetor, check the fuel level (see Service Fuel Level Inspection)If the fuel level is incorrect, inspect the rest of the carburetor before correcting it(see Remove the carburetor pulleyCarburetor Removal)throttle butterfly Turn the throttle cable that the valve [B] moves smoothly and [A] to checkwith the spring tensionreturn back If the throttle valve does not move smoothly, replace the carburetor
