Crankshaft Sensor Installation
Install: Coil Leads [A] Stator
Crankshaft Sensor [B] Plate [C] Tighten:
TorqueCrankshaft Sensor Mounting Bolts: 5.9 Nm (0.60 kgfm, 52 inlb)
Fit the lead grommets into the notch on the alternator coverGrommets [A] for Alternator Leads Grommets [B] for Crankshaft Sensor Leads Position the blue lead of the crankshaft sensor to outside
Crankshaft Sensor Inspection
Remove the seat (see Seat Removal in the Frame chapter)Disconnect the crankshaft sensor lead connector [A]Measureathe crankshaft sensor resistancelead and the Connect hand tester [B] between the BKW
