Alternator Cover Removal
Remove the engine bottom guard (see Engine Bottom Guard Removal in the Frame chapter)the engine DrainMaintenanceoil (see Engine Oil Change in the Periodic chapter) Cut the bands [A][B] Disconnect the alternator lead connectormainand crankshaft sensor lead connector [C] from the harness Loosen the battery cover and case bolts [A] fully.connec While lifting up the battery case [B] to clear the tors
shift pedal (see External Shift Remove thethe Engine Right Side chapter)Mechanism Removal in the Open[B]clamp [A] then free the neutralreverse switch lead Remove: Cover Bolts [C]Alternator Alternator Cover [D]
