Tie-Rod Removal
Using the jack under the frame, raise the rear wheels off the groundSpecial ToolJack: 57001-1238
CAUTION
When pulling out the mounting bolts, lift the rear wheels slightlyForcing or tapping on bolt could damage the bolt, sleeve, and bearing
Remove the rear tie-rod mounting bolt [A] and nutthe tie-rod adjusting locknut Removethe tie-rod adjusting nut and bolt, if necessary Loosen the front tie-rod mounting bolt [B] Pull out the tie-rod [C] Take out
