CRANKSHAFTTRANSMISSION 9-29 Reverse Shift Mechanism

Replace the O-ring [A] with new one Assemble the following partsO-ring
Spring [B] Push Rod [C] Cap [D]

reverse cable (see General Lubrication in Lubricate theMaintenance chapter)the Periodic the reverse cable RouteRouting section in according to the Cable, Wire and Hose the Appendix chapterWhile compressing the spring [A], install the cable lower end [B]

crankcase Install the push rod into the bolts [A] Tighten the cable mounting Tighten:
