FUEL SYSTEM (DFI) 3-59 Fuel Injector (Service Code 41)
Remove: (see Fuel Tank Removal) Fuel Tank Disconnect the connectors for injector [A] Connect each test light set [B] to the injector sub harness connector [C]switch ON Turn the ignitionthe engine with the starter motor, watch While cranking the test lightsIf the test lights flicker at regular intervals, the injector circuit in the ECU, and the wiring are goodPerform the "Injector Resistance Inspection"Injector signals can be also confirmed by connecting the hand testerAC 10instead of the test light set to the injector main harness connectorCrank the engine with the starter motor, and check to see if the hand oscillates at regular intervalsSpecial ToolHand Tester: 57001-1394
If the test light doesn't flicker (or the tester needle doesn't oscillates), check the wiring and connectors againIf the wiring is good, replace the ECU (see ECU RemovalInstallation)
