Clean the radiator
CAUTION
When cleaning the radiator with steam cleaner, be careful of the following to prevent radiator damageKeep the steam gun away more than 0.5 (20 in from the radiator core [A]Hold the steam gun perpendicular to the core surfaceRun the steam gun following the core fin direction
Radiator Hose and Connection Inspection
The high pressure inside the radiator hose can cause coolant to leak [A] or the hose to burst if the line is not properly maintainedVisually inspect the hoses for signs of deteriorationSqueeze the hosesA hose should not be hard and brittle, nor should it be soft or swollenReplace the hose if any fraying, cracks [B] or bulges [C] are noticedCheck that the hoses are securely connected and tighten the radiator hose clamp screwsTorqueRadiator Hose Clamp Screws: 2.0 Nm (0.20 kgfm, 18 inlb)
