REMOVAL Remove left footboard(See page 2-5) Remove the eight left crankcase cover bolts and left crankcase coverRemove the gasket and dowel pinsUse specified genuine parts for replacementBolts KICK STARTER DISASSEMBLY Remove the kick lever from the kick starter spindleFriction Spring Gently turn the kick starter spindle to remove the starter driven gear together with the friction springLeft Crankcase Cover
