ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 16-33 Electric Starter System
Install the starter motor [A] to the engine as shown Tighten:
TorqueStarter Motor Mounting Bolts: 17 Nm (1.7 kgfm, 12 ftlb)
Starter Solenoid Inspection
Remove:Motor (see Starter Motor Removal) Starter Disconnect the starter motor lead [A]
and Connect the hand tester [A] shown12 battery to the starter motor solenoid [B] as
Be sure the battery is fully charged
