Facing the arrow mark [D] on the top of the piston toward the alternator rotor side [E]CAUTION
The connecting rod and the connecting rod big end cap are machined at the factory in the assembled state, so they must be replaced together as setoil to Apply engine[B] andthe inner surface [A] of the connecting rod big end caps [C]Install the connecting rod big end caps in their original position on the connecting rod big ends by matching the
marks [D]Apply small amount of engine oil to the thread and seating surface of the cap bolts [E]Tighten the cap boltsTorqueConnecting Rod Big End Cap Bolts: 5.9 Nm (0.60 kgfm, 52 inlb)
