If any measurement is less than the service limit, replace both shoes as setIf the lining thickness is greater than the service limit, do the following before installing the shoesFile or sand down any high spots on the surface on the liningUse wire brush to remove any foreign particles from the liningWash off any oil or grease with an oilless solvent
CAUTION
Do not use solvent which will leave an oily residue or the shoes will have to be replaced
