ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 17-85 Fuses
30 Main Fuse Removal
Remove: Seat (see Seat Removal in Frame chapter) Starter Relay and 30 Main Fuse Connector [A] Pull out the main fuse [B] from the starter relay with needle nose pliers
Fuse Removal
Remove: Seat (see Seat Removal in Frame chapter) Fuse Case Cover [A] Pull out the fuse [B] from the fuse case with needle nose pliers
Fuse Inspection
If it is blown out, replace the fuse
Inspect the fuse element
Before replacing blown fuse, always check the amperage in the affected circuitIf the amperage is equal to or greater than the fuse rating, check the wiring and related components for short circuitHousing [A] Fuse Element [B] Terminals [C] Blown Element [D]
