RegulatorRectifier Inspection
Remove: Connectors [A] (disconnect) Bolts [B] and RegulatorRectifier [C]
Rectifier Circuit Check Check conductivity of the following pair of terminalsRectifier Circuit Inspection Tester connection WR-Y1BK-Y1WR-Y2BK-Y2, WR-Y3 BK-Y3
The resistance should be low in one direction and more

than ten times as much in the other directionIf any two leads are low or high in both directions, the rectifier is defective and must be replaced
o The actual meter reading varies with the meter and the
individual rectifierGenerally speaking the lower reading should be from zero to one half of the scaleRegulator Circuit Check To test the regulator out of circuit, use three 12 batteries and test light (12 bulb in socket with leads)
