13-18 BRAKES Rear Brake Lever, Pedal and Cables
Brake Pedal Position Inspection
Check that the brake pedal [A] is in the correct position as shown[B] Footboard
Pedal Position [C] Standard: 6065 mm (2.362.56 in above footboard
If it is incorrect, adjust the brake pedal positionBrake Pedal Position Adjustment
Loosen the locknut [A], and turn the adjusting bolt [B] until the brake pedal is correctly positioned Tighten the locknut Check the brake pedal free play (see Brake Pedal Free Play Inspection in Periodic Maintenance chapter)
