Hold the front final gear case right cover [A] in vise, and remove the bearing holder using the socket wrench [B] Special ToolSocket Wrench, Hex 41: 57001-1484 Olf the holder seems too difficult to break free, apply heat to softer the locking agent Remove: Pinion Gear Bearing Holder
Remove: Pinion Gear Unit [A] Shim(s)
Front Final Gear Case Coupling Inspection
Visually inspect the coupling bushing [A] for damage or wearIf the coupling bushing is damaged or worn, replace the front final gear case coupling Measure the coupling bushing inside diameter [B]Front Final Gear Case Coupling Bushing Inside Diameter Standard13.00013.018 mm (0.51180.5125 in Service Limit: 13.048 mm (0.5137 in
