The coolant temperature warning light switch should never be allowed to fall on hard surfaceSuch shock to the part can damage it
Drain the coolant (see Coolant Change in Periodic Maintenance chapter) Remove the front fender (see Front Fender Removal in Frame chapter) Disconnect the switch lead [A] Remove the switch [8]
