COOLING SYSTEM 4-11 Water Pump
Water Pump Impeller Inspection
Visually inspect the impeller [A] If the surface is corroded or the blades are damagedreplace the impeller
Water Pump Leakage Inspection

Check the drainage catch tank [A] at the bottom of the water pump body for coolant leakageIf there is coolant leak, the mechanical seal in the pump could be damagedReplace the mechanical seal with new one (see Mechanical Seal Replacement)
