Idle Speed Adjustment
Refer to the Idle Speed Adjustment in the Periodic Maintenance chapter
Pilot Screw Adjustment
Adjust the pilot screw if necessary Remove the air cleaner cover (see Air Cleaner Cover Removal in Frame chapter) Turn the carburetor pilot screw [A] all the way in until it seats lightlySpecial ToolPilot Screw Adjuster, A: 57001-1239 [8]
CAUTION
Do not overtighten the pilot screw or the carburetor body will be damaged and require replacement
