Place container under the drain plug [A] at the rear cylinder, then remove the drain plug After the coolant drain, tighten the drain plugs Flush the coolant around the drain plugs
Tighten the drain plug at the water pumpTorqueCoolant Drain Plug8.8 N'm (0.90 kgf'm, 78 in'lb)
Support the vehicle on stand or the jack so that the front wheels are off the groundThis makes air bleeding easier Fill the radiator up to the radiator filler neck [A] with coolant
OPour in the coolant slowly so that the air in the engine and radiator can escape
CAUTION
Soft or distilled water must be used with the antifreeze in the cooling systemIf hard water is used in the system, it causes scale accumulation in the water passages, considerably reducing the efficiency of the cooling systemWater and Coolant Mixture Ratio (when shipping) Soft Water: 50 Coolant: Freezing Point: Total Amount: 50 -35C (-31F) 2.4 (2.54 US qt)
