Air Cleaner Element Cleaning and Inspection NOTE
Oln dusty areas, the element should be cleaned more frequently than the recommended intervalOAffer riding through rain or muddy terrains, the element should be cleaned immediatelyOAlso, if there is break in the element material or any with other damage to the element, replace the new one
WARNING
Clean the element in well-ventilated area, and take care that there are no sparks or flame anywhere near the working area; this includes any appliance with pilot lightBecause of the danger of highly flammable liquids, do not use gasoline or low-flash point solvent to clean the foam element Remove the air cleaner element (see Air Cleaner Element Removal in Fuel System chapter) Clean the element [A] in bath of high-flash point solvent
