Ignition Coil Primary Peak Voltage Inspection NOTE
plug cap Remove the spark the spark (see Spark Plug Removal), but do not remove plugMeasure the primary peak voltage as follows Connect commercially peak voltage adapter [A] to the hand tester [B] (250 DC range)Install the needle adapter [C] on the peak voltage adapter leadsSpecial ToolsHand Tester: 57001-1394 Needle Adapter Set: 57001-1457 Peak Voltage Adapter: 57001-1415 Type: KEK-54-9-B Brand: KOWA SEIKI
Be sure the battery is fully charged
Insert the needle adapter into the terminal of the GW
(front) or BLW (rear) primary lead [D]Install new spark plug [E] into the spark plug cap, and ground it to the engine[F] Ignition Coil
