STEERING 14-5 Steering
Steering Stem Removal

Remove: (see Frame chapter) Front Fender
Front Wheels (see WheelsTires chapter) Cotter Pins [A] Tie-Rod End Nuts [B] and Tie-Rod End Steering Stem Bearing Housing Bolts [C] (right and left)

CAUTION
Do not loosen the tie-rod adjusting locknuts [D], or the toe-in of the front wheels will be changedHandlebar Assembly [A] (see Handlebar Removal) Screws [B] Clamp [C]
