ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 17-57 Radiator Fan System
Radiator Fan Circuit Inspection
Remove the left front side cover (see Frame chapter) Disconnect the leads from the radiator fan switch [Al Using an auxiliary wire (8], connect the radiator fa switch lead s If the fan rotatesinspect the fan switchIf the fan does not rotate, inspect the foll owingLeads and Connectors Main Fuse and Fan Fuse Fan Motor Remove the Front Fender (see Frame ch apter) Disconnect the connector [A] in th fa lead Using two auxiliary wires, supply battery [B] voltage to the fan motor, If the fan does not rotatethe fan motor is defective and must be replacedRadiator Fan Motor Leads BLBattery (+) BK: Battery (-)
