Vehicle-down Sensor Removal
CAUTION
Never drop he vehicle-down sensor, especially on hard surfaceShock to the sensor can damage it RemoveRear Fender (see Frame chapter) Vehicle-down Sensor Lead Conn ector [A] Screws [8] Vehicle-down Sensor [C]
Vehicle-down Sensor Installation
Install the vehicle-down sensor [A] so that the sensor lead faces backwards [8], and the arrow mark [C] on the sensor points upward Tighten the screws securely
WARNING
Incorrect installation of the vehic le-down sensor could cause udden loss of engine powerThe rider could lose balan ce during certain riding situationslike leaning over in turn, with the potential for an accident resu lt ing in injury or death Ensure that he dow sen sor is held in place by the sensor brackets
