Measure the primary win ding resistance [Aj as followsOConnect the tester between the coi terminals OSet the teste to the ra nge Measure the secondary winding resistance [Bj as follows: ORemove the plug cap by turning it counterclockwise OConnect the tester between the spark plug lead and terminalOSet the tester to the kO rangeIgnition Coil Windi l1g Resistance Primary windings: 0.090.13 Secondary windings: 3.8 5.8 kO If the hand tester does not read as specified, replace the coi lOTo install the plug cap, turn it clockwiseHP I0 098S C
Ignition Coil Primary Peak Voltage Inspection
