Steering Knuckle Installation
Inspect the spherical bearing [A]If roughness, excessive play, or seizu re is foundreplace the knuckle joint [8] Clean the shanks [C] of the knuckle joint Check that the joint boot [Dj is not torn, worn, deteriorated, or is leaking grease Tighten :
TorqueSteering Knuckle Joi nt Nut: 42 Nm (4.3 kgfm, 31 ft lb) Front Shock Absorber Clamp Nut: 42 Nm (4 .3 kgfm, 31 ftlb) Tie-Rod End Nut: 42 Nm (4.3 kgf-m31 ftlb)

o Tighten the two front shock absorber clamp nuts alternately two times to ensure even tightening torque
