Rear Axle Removal
Drain the rear final gear case oil (see Rear Final Gear Case Oil Change) Remove: Rear Wheels (see Wheelsrrires chapter) Rear Hub (see Wheelsrrires chapter) Rear Bottom Guard (see Frame chapter) Trailer Hitch Bracket (see Frame chapter) Rear Final Gear Case Left Cover Rubber Cover Tap [A) the right end of the rear axle [B] and pull it out from the leftOThe left axle bearing comes off with the axle
Rear Axle Installation
Install the rear axle from the left side with the left bearing installed, while aligning the splines Apply grease: O-ring [AJ Oil Seal Lips in Rear Final Gear Case Left Cover
