COOLING SYSTEM 4-11 Water Pump
Water Pump Impeller Inspection
Visu ally inspect the impeller [A) If the su rface is corroded or the blades are damaged, replace the impeller
Water Pump Leakage Inspection
Check the drainage catch tank [A] at the bottom of th water pu mp body for coolant leakage If th ere is coolant leak, the mechanical seal in th pump co uld be damaged Replace th mechanical seal with new one (see Mechanical Seal Replacement)
