Loosen the locknut [A] of the differential control cable Turn the adjuster [B) until the cable has proper amount of play Tighten the locknut securely
Front Final Gear Case Oil Change
Warm up the oil by running the vehicle so that the oil will pick up any sediment and drain easilyThen stop th vehicle Park the vehicle so that it is level, both side-to-side and front-to-rea Remove the front side cover (see Frame chapter) Place an oil pan be neath the front final gear case and remove the drain plug [A]
A WARNING
W hen drainin or fi lling the final gear case, be careful that no oil gets on the tire or rimClean off any oi that inadvertently gets on them with high-flash poi nt solvent After the oil has completely drained out, install the drain plug with new aluminum gasket, and tighten itTorqueOil Drain Plug: 20 N'm (2.0 kgf-m, 14 ft 'lb) Fill the gear case up to the bottom of filler opening wi th the oil specified belowFront Final Gear Case Oil TypeAPI SF or SG SH or SJ with ASO MA class Viscosity: SAE 10W40 Capacity: 0.43 (0.45 US qt)
