Clea the radiator
CAUTION
When cleaning the radiator with steam cleaner, be careful of the following to prevent radiator damageKeep the steam gun away more than 0.5 (20 in from the radiato'r core [A]Hold the steam gun perpendicular to the core surfaceRun the steam gun following he core fin direction
Radiator Hose and Connection Inspection
OThe high pressure inside the rad iator hose can cause coolant to leak [A) or the hose to burst if the line is not properly maintained Visually inspect the hoses fo signs of deteriorationSqueeze the hosesA hose should not be hard and brittle, nor should it be soft or swollenReplace the hose if any frayin g, cracks [8) or bulges [C] are noticed Check that the hoses are securely connected and clamps are tightened correctly
