External Shift Mechanism Inspection
any damage Examine the shift mechanism for[A], springs [B], and shift Check the shift mechanism shaft mechanism arm [C]If the shaft is bent, straighten or replace itIf the spline [D] is damaged, replace the shaftIf the springs are damaged in any way, replace themIf the shift mechanism arm is damaged in any way, replace the levercam area [A] and ball assembly [B] Check thearea is damaged, or if the ball assembly is worn If the cam visibly, replace the damaged part
