Park the vehicle so that it is level, both side-to-side and front-to-rearthe engine oil level between the upper [A] Check that[B] lines in the gaugeis[C]and lower
If the oil has just been changed, start the engine and run it for several minutes at idle speedThis fills the oil filter with oilStop the engine, then wait several minutes until the oil settlesCAUTION
Racing the engine before the oil reaches every part can cause engine seizureIf the level is too high, suck the excess oil out the filler hole with syringe or other suitable deviceIf the level is too low, add oil through the filler holeUse the same type and make of oil that is already in the engine
