ENGINE TOP END 4-21 Cylinder Head
cylinder head Loosen the and remove allM6 bolts [A] and M10 bolts [B] completely the boltsRemove the cylinder head
Cylinder Head Installation
the Blow outnew oil passage with compressed aircylinder head gasket [A] Install the dowel pins [B] are in placeBe sure Be sure the front camshaft chain guide [C] is in place (see Camshaft Chain Guide Installation)
Apply molybdenum disulfide oil [M] to the flange and threads of all cylinder head bolts Apply non-permanent locking agent [L] to the right front cylinder head bolt [4]the cylinder Tighten in two steps.head bolts in criss-cross pattern as shown,
Cylinder Head Bolt Torque First Torquing M10 Bolts [1 4]13 Nm (1.3 kgfm, 113 inlb) M6 Bolts [5 6]5.9 Nm (0.6 kgfm, 52 inlb) Final Torquing M10 Bolts [1 4]: 34 Nm (3.5 kgfm, 25 ftlb) M6 Bolts [5 6]: 9.8 Nm (1.0 kgfm, 87 inlb)
