Momentarily apply 12 to the voltage monitoring terminal.Check A1, A2, and A3 terminals respectivelyIf the test light turns on, the regulatorrectifier is defectiveReplace itIf the test light does not turn on, continue the test
Momentarily apply 24 to the voltage monitoring terminal by adding 12 battery Check A1, A2, and A3 terminals respectively
CAUTION
Do not apply more than 24 to the regulatorrectifier and do not leave the 24 applied for more than few seconds, or the unit will be damagedIf the test light did not light when the 24 was applied momentarily to the voltage monitoring terminal, the regulatorrectifier is defectiveReplace itIf the regulatorrectifier passes all of the tests described, it may still be defectiveIf the charging system still does not work properly after checking all of the components and the battery, test the regulatorrectifier by replacing it with known good unit
