Battery Initial Charging
Before being placed in service, new battery should be given an initial charging Cut off the sealed end of the battery vent hose and remove the filler caps Fill each cell to the upper level line on the battery case with fresh electrolyte at temperature of 30C (86F) or lessLet the battery stand for about 30 minutes before charging
o If the electrolyte level drops,
before charging
add electrolyte to the upper level line
