Loosen the clamp bolts and nuts [A] on both ends of the swingarm
Insert suitable bar or the bar provided in the tool kit into the hole in the bearing housing and turn it upward or downward until the drive chain has the correct amount of chain slack
CAUTION
Do not overtighten the chainOvertightening will cause accelerated wear to engine and drive line components

If the drive chain adjuster clamp bolts are removed, apply molybdenum disulfide grease to the bolt threads before installing them Torque: TorqueDrive Chain Adjuster Clamp Bolts and Nuts62 N-m (6.3 kg-m, 46 ft-Ib) Torque Link Nuts: 34 N-m (3.5 kg-m, 25 ft-Ib)
