Balancer Drive Removal
Remove: Clutches Recoil Starter Fit the hook wrench to the recoil starter pulleySpecial ToolHook Wrench: 57001-1101 Remove the balancer gear nut and gear [A] while holding the crankshaft from turning Flatten the side of the toothed washer where it is bent up against the nut mounting the balancer drive gear [8] and oil pump drive gear

Remove the nut with the socket wrench [A] and take off the oil pump drive gear and balancer drive gearSpecial ToolSocket Wrench:
