.Visually inspect the friction plates for uneven wear, discoloration, or missing friction material, cracks, or other damage If any of the friction plates are damaged, replace them Measure the thickness of the friction plates at several pointsIf any of the measurements is less than the service limit, replace the friction plateSecondary Clutch Friction Plate Thickness Standard: 2.92 '" 3.08 mm Service Limit: 2.8 mm
Secondary Clutch Friction Plate and Steel Plate Warp
.Lay each plate [A] on surface plate [8], Hold one side down and use thickness gauge [C] to measure the gap between the other side of the plate and the surface plateIf any of the clutch plates is warped beyond the service limit replace itSecondary Clutch Friction Plate and Steel Plate Warp Standard: Under 0.15 mm (Friction Plate) Under 0.2 mm (Steel Plate) Service Limit: 0.3 mm
