.When the push rod [AJ is in as far as it will go, screw in the lockbolt [BJ with its washer to lock the push rod Push out the wire to release the spring [C] Be sure the O-ring [0] is in place in the tensioner body After installing the tensioner, loosen the lockbolt and then tighten itWith the bolt loosened, the spring inside takes up any slack automatically
