Valve Guide Installation
.Clean the valve guide hole in the cylinder head Lightly oil the valve guide Set the O-ring under the valve guide flange Heat the cylinder head around the valve guide hole to 120 to 150"C (250 to 300"F) Use the valve guide arbor and hammer to drive the guide into the head from the outside until the flange on the guide seats against the head Allow the cylinder head to cool.Ream the valve guide with the valve guide reamer [A] even if the old guide is reusedSpecial Tool

Check valve seating Install the valve stem oil sealInstall the valve Install the cylinder head
Valve Seats:
Valve Seat Inspection
Remove the valveCoat the valve seat with machinist's dyePush the valve into the guideRotate the valve against the seat with lapping toolPull the valve out, and check the seating pattern on the valve headIt must be the correct width [A] and even all the way aroundValve Seating Width Standard: 0.51.0 mm
