Air Cleaner Element CleaningInspection
.Clean the element [AJ in bath of high flash-point solvent using soft bristle brush Squeeze it dry in clean towelDo not wring the element or blow it dry; the element can be damagedAWARNING Clean the element in well ventilated area, and take ample care that there are no sparks or flame anywhere near the working area; this includes any appliance with pilot lightDo not use gasoline or low flash-point solvent to clean the elementA fire or explosion could result Visually check the element for tears or breaks in the foamCheck the foam gasket [8] also, and the plastic frame [C] If the element or gasket has any tears or breaks, replace the element, or gasketIf the plastic frame is damaged or distorted, replace it
