Steering Knuckle Installation Notes
oThe installation is the reverse of removalNote the following-Clean the sealing surfaces, and the tapered hole and clearance hole in the knuckle
-Tighten the knuckle joint nut and knuckle clamp nut to the specified torque (see Exploded View)
Tierod Removal
-Remove the rear fender and the front fender (see Frame chapter)-Remove the cotter pin and the tie-rod end nut at the steering knuckle-Remove the cotter pin and the tie-rod end nut at the steering stem-Pry off the tie-rod
