FINAL DRIVE 10-5 eTighten both clamp bolts to the specified torque (see Exploded View)If any measurement exceeds the service limit, replace the chainAlso replace the engine and rear sprockets when the drive chain is replaced
I WARNING
Drive Chain 20-link Length Standard: 317.5 318.2 mm Service Limit: 324mm

Olf the clamp bolts are not securely tightened, an unsafe riding condition may result
Drive Chain Wear Inspection eRotate the rear wheels to inspect the drive chain for damaged rollers) and loose pins and links-Also inspect the sprockets for unevenly or excessively worn or damaged teeth (see Sprocket Wear)If there is any irregularity, replace the drive chain and both sprockets-If the chain appears dry, lubricate it-Stretch the chain taut either by adjusting the chain slack, or by hanging 10 kg weight on the chaineMeasure the length of 20 links on the straight part of the chain from pin center of the 1st pin to pin center of the 21 st pinSince the chain may wear unevenly, take measurements at several places
