5-4 CLUTCH Clutch
WARNING
Due to friction plate wear and clutch cable stretch over long period of use, the clutch must be adjusted in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart
oTo avoid serious burn, never touch hot engine or exhaust pipe during clutch adjustment
-Slide the lower cable adjuster to give the cable plenty of play
Clutch Lever Free Play Inspection -Check that the clutch lever has the specified amount of free playas shown
Clutch Lever Free Play 2-3mm
