ENGINE TOP END 49 Replacement Chain Tensioner Installation replacement chain tensioner from stock has rod holder plate-Install the tensioner on the cylinder block, and tighten the mounting boltseRemove the plate to release the push rodCamshaft Installation Notes -Apply engine oil to all cam partsIf the camshaft(s) andor cylinder head are replaced with new ones, apply thin coat of molybdenum disulfide engine assembly grease on the new cam part surfaceseFill the camshaft bearing oil passages with engine oilePosition the cran kshaft at TOC-Turn the crankshaft until TOC mark is aligned with the notch in the inspection window
