Installation is the reverse order of removalHowever, pay attention to the following detailsFor the rear facia installation, before installing screws no46, install the flat washers between rear fender and rear facia with needle nose pliersLatch Lever: Buck EX Models: Remove push nut no64 and rivet no65Separate latch lever no2 from spring no66Buck EXT Model: Detach spring no67 from lever no3The engine skid plate no61 protects the engineCheck for damage, crack or loosenessChange if skid plate is damaged or crackedTorque all bolts at the regular intervalUnscrew pivot nut no68Latch Base: Remove bolts no69 and separate latch base no70 from springSpring: Under vehicle, remove bolts no62 and cups no63Remove latch baseSeparate spring from latch base and latch leverInstallation is the reverse order of removalInstallation is the reverse order of removal Buck EX Models: Remove the boltsFor latch stud no71 adjustment, unscrew the latch stud nut no72 and screw or unscrew the latch stud to the best heightSee the following illustration
