Unfasten TORX head screws no8 retaining LH axle housing no4 from rear differential castellated nut no.11 flat washer no12 caliper Check axle housing for wear or other damage, replace if necessaryCheck axle for wear, cracks, bend, spots of rust, or other damageChange the axle if any problem is detected rear differential protector no1 lower bolt retaining RH shock from axle housingCheck all axle housing ball bearings for excessive play and smooth operationReplace if necessaryRemove axle housing then pull out axle no5 Unfasten TORX head screws no6 and no7 retaining RH axle housing no2 from rear differentialRemove axle housing then pull out axle no3
For installation, reverse the removal procedurepaying attention to the following detailsApply grease on splinesTorque castellated nut no11 to 135-155 Nm (100-114 lbft)
Check axle housing for wear or other damage, replace if necessaryCheck axle for wear, cracks, bend, spots of rust, or other damageChange the axle if any problem is detectedCheck all axle housing ball bearings no10 for excessive play and smooth operationReplace if necessary
